Anyone here buy their comics digitally? I've only ever bought a handful, I was just curious...

I am not much of a comic buyer but I think I would probably be old school and opt for the paper versions. You can always sell them.

I imagine the scene is a weird mix of people who buy one, both, or maybe even the trade paperback as well.

I only ever buy digital if there's a sale on or something's gone out of print etc. I sure as hell wouldn't want to rely on companies who can barely get their stores to work with an entire collection.

Many treat them as investments as well, but the fans might buy one sealed and another to read that could be the digital version. I can easily imagine their being problems with stock in stores. There are simply so many comics now that it might be impossible to stock all of them.

Damn straight!

Apart from the usual 'Look at the baps on her!' comic publications, I've noticed recently that any amount of them focused on nuns :?

That's potentially good for me since I've bought a few digital comics from both, but even those are only cos the paperback versions were extortionately priced. It'll be interesting to see how pricing is affected though; Comixology is known for it's sales on particular story arcs or writers, giving away free issues etc.

Amazon would definitely need to sort out the Comixology infrastructure, it's about as un-user-friendly as it's possible to get.

What I still don't get about Morrison is that he's very sharp and knows exactly what he's doing but the comics I've read that he's written aren't as good as you'd expect. I did used to buy Doom Patrol ages ago and I did recognise that his approach was quite different to other authors but I was always a bit put off by the artwork. I'll have to dig out my copy of Arkham Asylum too as I don't remember it being quite as ground-breaking as everyone would have you believe....much like The Killing Joke.
