A new bike route into town today by way of a change.

And we found this (I did a screen grab from Google Maps when I got home)

And just so you get an idea of the size, here it is from above.

Now, to put this into perspective. There are no docks, wharfs or navigable rivers that would take a boat that size in Chelmsford. This raises a number of questions about how it got there why it's there, and how it's expected to get back into what I expect would be the sea.

What is the altitude of the area? I suspect that by the end of the century it will be floating. The sea will come to it.
