That's made me LOL and I agree EDIT Personally I love the show. If it's not geek enough for you or if they're not living in the right place who cares? At least they're not all still all the same ages like the characters in The Simpsons or Family guy

Anyone watch the Michael McIntyre chat show? It could go either way for me, but I don't think the Beeb has the confidence considering the time slot... It also depends on whether you can tolerate him or not of course ION, Mark Lawson has a good interview with David Bailey on iPlayer, and I'm hoping Vikings is a bit better paced than it's pilot.

From Dusk Till Dawn - First of all, I'd forgotten it was weekly, even on Netflix. The pilot is very well made, scripted and acted, it's essentially an extended scene riffing on the movie and I can't tell you any more without ruining it It feels a little weird since you were probably expecting an introduction to all the characters ala 'normal' TV, but you're basically thrown in at the deep end. I think it would actually be even better if you haven't seen the film!

Homeland's first two seasons are now on Netflix. I'll give it a go maybe but I keep hearing it jumps the shark and never really recovers

First season was pretty good, the second season is losing my interest now.

The second season is due to finish in a month in the States. I'll leave it until sometime after that before I even start to think about watching it. I finished the first season tonight and I'm really looking forward to finding out how they resolve the cliffhanger ending. Mark

No spoilers, the first few episodes in the second season are good and I liked the direction it was going in, it's just mid-season where it's getting a bit silly. I'm sticking with it, hopefully it'll come together again. I've heard they've signed up for a 3rd season, though I think that might be pushing the limits of believability a bit!
