It'll take time, but I think the traditional model is essentially over.
I'm with you on that.

So BBC3 isn't closing, it's going 'digital only'.
It is essentially becoming a non-linear channel.
That's interesting.

Germs are what build up our immune systems and keep us healthily. Anyway there are plenty of situations where humans exchange more than a bit of spittle ;)

One of the guys here at work is obsessed with cleaning everything and he's always sick.

I can totally understand why you'd want to just walk away.

It sucks when non smokers get lung cancer.

EDIT

I'm not saying it doesn't suck when smokers get it, but it sucks more when non smokers do.

Those of us who read Football365's 'media watch' page have been acclimatised to this kind of injury. It's a blog that, essentially, does analysis of the football-related news stories in the press in a fairly scathing manner. However they always have a 'non football story of the day' at the end. Generally, these were your 'and finally' type stories, but they've now had a running joke for quite some time about news stories relating to men having their penis amputated or some similar injury. It's got the point where if their 'and finally' isn't about a penis being separated from it's owner, people write into the letters page pointing it out.

Basically, if you look, you can get a t least one story a week where bloke and part have been disconnected.

Just this week alone...

Non-Football Story Of The Day
'Doctors at the People's Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City on March 8 successfully reattached the penis of a 42-year-old man after it was cut off by his wife, with a razor.
'Dr. Truong Hoang Minh, Head of the Urology Ward of the People's Hospital said the patient was hospitalized with a nearly cut-off bruising penile. Doctors reattached the penis in a two-hour operation.
'"The patient's condition is relatively stable now. However, the function of the penis is still unknown for 3 months," the doctor said.
'According to family members, the patient has a wife and two children but he has had a public affair for months. The wife cut off her husband's penis for jealousy, but she then took the husband to the hospital' - Vietnamnet

Non-Football Story Of The Day
'ONE husband returned to live with his wife after she chopped off his penis only to have his member dismembered again. Echinacities.com reports that Han Mou asked his wife for a divorce in Anhui, China. His wife, named Zhang, believed that he wanted a divorce because he was sleeping with other women. So she slipped him some sleeping pills, cut off his penis and flushed it down the toilet.
'She was arrested but let out on bail and the pair continued to live together with their children while Zhang awaited trial. Han Mou said he loved his wife but still wanted the divorce because her jealousy was out of control.
'Fearing that she would be sent to prison, he went out looking for a new partner to become a stand-in mother to his children. So Zhang crushed up some sleeping pills and put them in her husband's glass of milk. When he woke up he started screaming in pain and found out that she had chopped off "everything". Zhang called the ambulance and the police to turned herself in' - news.com.

I fully expect to see the story posted above in their column tomorrow.

Def Leppard and KISS just announced a co-headlining tour in the States this summer.
Let me just say that again if, like me, you couldn't quite believe your eyes the first time around ...
Def Leppard and KISS co-headlining a tour.

Bizarro combination or what?

Mark

Doesn't sound that bizarre to me, they're at least both rock bands. It's not like it's Tupac touring with the BBC Philharmonic in support...
