They must have a lot of unreleased material kicking around, I call it the GN'R effect.

Ooohh kaaayyy, this is going to get a bit Bratty for a minute.
A woman who I asked out about six months ago, who said she wasn't interested, has just started a relationship with a very good friend of mine. As far as I can tell, she hasn't told him I asked her out. I don't see any point in telling him and I don't think she does either to be honest. All I'm interested in is my friend's happiness. But I suspect I'm going to be running into her more often than I expected to when we parted company (on reasonably amicable terms, thank god). I have no problem with them being a couple but I'd be lying if I said my ego wasn't bruised. So I think I'm going to have to do a fair bit of 'grin and bear it' for a while.
I'm not asking for advice but I'm throwing it out there for observations. And because I just needed to vent about it.

Six months is a long time man, I don't think you should be beating yourself up on that score.

1. Six months is long enough to not affect things IMO. She probably doesn't remember it, but you always will - if you let it! Having come back from a stag, the two guys who were most successful in scoring with women basically went around and tried chatting up with as many women as possible. If they turned down, they just moved on to their friends or other girls. If you take it to heart, it will always appear harder to sit with
2. That article appears to be heavily biased.
