Safety not Guaranteed
A wonderfully touching, sweet, witty and quirky story of people connecting and re-connecting in a way that's been done before in so many other terrible films but which is presented in such a likeable way here that those other films can't come close to.
I certainly recommend you catch this film if you have the chance.

Watched Thor 2 on the flight. Appalling. Hated it. Don't think it had any redeeming features. The "twists" were just crap. 0/5.

Everything about that film was rubbish.

Just watched Tintin.

Actually enjoyable, far more so than some of the more mainstream films. More enjoyable than MoS. There was an implausible series of events during a chase scene which was too OTT for my liking, but I did enjoy the story. I thought I had spotted Calculus but unlike some forumites, my only exposure to Tintin was the cartoon series that would air on Channel 4 mid/late morning during school holidays, and even then I didn't like it as much as other cartoons. Consequently, there are a lot of things that probably went over my head or questions that were raised during the film.

Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Really enjoyed it. Streets ahead of Thor 2 in terms of success as a sequel. Well worth a look.
Also - keep an eye out for a few easter eggs. Community fans will appreciate a familiar face too.

Kick-Ass 2 is a lot more violent than I expected it to be.
This is not a good/bad thing, just an observation.

+1, it's great, basically a thriller with really good action. On that basis, if you like action thrillers but weren't exactly bowled over by the first film, give this a go.

(8+)
Saw it just a short while ago.
There's a certain TV show that'll be interesting to follow, should it get renewed.

ZEITGEIST The Movie (2007)

I've been told to watch this. So I am now. Can't remember why because I was drunk at the time (it was my work birthday drink up and I'd been plied with wine and patron). If it comes back to me I'll let you know 8-)

That's another one that's in my list.

ION, I'm going to see The Lego Movie later :)

The Lego Movie - almost the entire middle section is rubbish and it never really recovers as a result :( . If it hadn't been for LOL Batman I'd have probably walked out tbh, it just throws everything at the screen and little works. It started off well!

Stephen Merchant - Hello Ladies Live - Just not funny. I don't want to watch someone who freely admits they're cocky. Especially when they've got little reason to be!
