Would VLC player work, John?

Sorry, ernie - just seen this. Not sure, but the plan, (when I get a minute) is to install raspbian and give vlc a try. It's either that or pay for the license, which I don't want to do.

Back at work.
Back at my old desk.
My teaching contract ran out on Friday, so I'm back to the tech'ing.
So far, I've discovered that in my absence, my colleagues have managed to lose all the SD cards, a £320 mic, and an £80 mic, the electrical tape and all the rechargeable AA batteries.
So my boss will have a field day when he see's the order form I'm about to hand him.
that looks like theft to me ;)

Yeah, it could do.
I think it's just general wilful laziness and ignorance. Fun thing is, the girl who recently friend-zoned me (and then promptly started seeing someone else in the department 20 years her senior) has been covering my job while I've been teaching.
So on the one hand, I could be a real [LIFTED] and claim it as theft in a moment of petty revenge, or on the other, accept that it's most likely blind stupidity.

So theft or gross negligence then?

I suspect it's a simple case of someone borrowing them without actually leaving any paper work to that effect. I'll track them down.

Morning all

Off to Paris tomorrow - and its going to be raining :( - bloody French

Why would you do that?
Saying that last time I did a tour of macaron stands :D Even the McDonald's macarons are surprisingly tasty. Head to montparnasse for tasty southern french food and Bastille for drinks and nights out:)

Just a joke - I "Know" that they have deliberatly arranged for it to rain just to annoy me ;)

We are going there to cheer some friends who are doing the London to Paris Bike Ride as a suppriser. So see a few sites (we ahve been to Paris a couple of time before) and then a bit of a walk around eating a drinking and then back home - all via Eurostar - so its a 4.15 am start to get the London in time to catch the early train

Isn't OCP from Robocop?

Yes, though in this case it means One Central Park. It's one of the college campuses.

I made Chicken Byriani for tea, which was nice. I'm about to go outside to bring the washing in. I hadn't mentioned any of the other jobs that I'd done because I didn't want to raise the bar too high for the other married men here ;-)

Also... Painting the fence? Never heard it called that before, but I did have a shave earlier, so... fingers crossed lol
