Fantastic article in Vanity FairQuick summary : The lawyers won, everybody else lost. Love the story about a Samsung staff member actually eating incriminating documents when the patent infringement investigators turned up at the door. Jon

That was interesting, thanks.
It seems patent infringement and sharp practise is a way of life at Samsung. I seriously doubt their new legal compliance division is anything more than lip service.

I know a lot of people who've had that experience, me included. A girl I know recently went for the LG Flex so I'll be interested to hear about it.

I had a samdung phone in 2005, first and last, the UI made it an absolute dog of a phone. Perhaps Android will make current samsungs better, but I won't be finding out.

I got my Samsung phone and weeks later found out that newer version of Android would not be available to it. So had a brick of a phone for 2 years, thankfully I also had a workphone at the time.

I'm still using my only ever Samsung phone after 2 years and I love it.
Ultimately the lawyers winning is the relevant comment. The rest of us are merely pawns in this whole thing </Bratty>
