I'm not so convinced that the latest and greatest are either 'sold out' or 'flying off the shelves'. There's been way too many price drops and deals already within just six months.

Or it could just be that everything's delayed and there's only two or three games worth buying once they've been discounted... it's hardly a surprise that people turn to mobile games in that context. Oh, and Japan has historically gone nuts for portable consoles and gaming.

And while I'm ranting, have you seen how quickly bundles and price drops have been introduced this generation? It's hardly worth jumping now when the release schedules are so crap.
