That MP3s should be at least 320 kbps; they sound TOTALLY dire otherwise to my ears. And I only use them as background noise (out walking, playing video games), I sure as hell wouldn't use them for listening to a new album, for instance.

Been wondering that myself, but he did mention going on holiday not too long ago.

Didn't that happen a while back? I'm sure he disappeared for a while then came back having remembered us. Like Bunny, from Crossroads lol. Or maybe I dreamt it.

I can hear a pin drop but would consider myself to be tone deaf when it comes to musical quality, so a low bit rate for me is like, meh. However my eyes can't be fooled by 3D so I guess that makes up for it.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I've seen many teams play England at Twickenham, but never the All Blacks. As I currently live only a few hundred metres away from Eden Park it would be rude not to see a game. I may even push the boat out and get tickets for the Australia game in July as well.

I went to see Crusaders vs Sharks at Twickenham and the kiwis were really impressive. Mightily jealous!

You can do an ABX test here. I'm going to try when I get a second as I suspect (but am happy to be proven wrong) that I'll struggle to tell the difference between most. Anyone else care to do a fair and honest test

I can tell the difference in bitrate & encoding on music. But I did spend years as a sound engineer so listening to the production and mastering etc was something I was taught.
