Your number of partners is not necessarily proportional to the amount of sex you have.

Very true.
I'd expect studing "pulling" on a night out would have a lot of partners and very little sex

My first thought was 'It doesn't tell you if any of it was any good' but then there's a Woody allen quote that applies. Although maybe we shouldn't be taking relationship advice from a man who slept with his step-daughter.

I was also wondering if it makes any distinction between gay and straight populations. I may be making an assumption but my guess would be the gay population of Brighton Uni is towards the high end of the distribution. If you're straight and you sign up to Brighton because of the stats and it turns out the people having lots of sex in Brighton are mostly gay, you're going to end up feeling a bit of a fool (you'd be an idiot anyway tbh, but still).

Who cares about the students, I want to know the best option if you're teaching staff.

That would have to be a dive instructor in the tropics.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I read the link last night on my iphone but can't recall the list. I've always been told that girls love to go to Nottingham to study and hence guys try to apply there too. Certainly a large proportion of my year group at A-levels who were female wanted to go there (the rest wanted Oxbridge/London).

Otherwise I'd have thought the more "doss" universities would be the place where people are less studiously focused.

I was very surprised about Bath Spa as it's a very hippy uni with random courses like astrology  . Would have expected more free loving.

4. Southampton Solent University
79 University of Southampton

Well I attended the latter but not surprised the former. Back then it was known as Southampton Institute and wasn't a university. It was basically where you went if you were too stupid to get into Southampton University. Lots of dossers so doesn't surprise me at being 4th.

Yes it seems to show that they aren't capable of having a long term relationship.

There aren't that many 18-21 year olds that are looking for long term relationships, tbh.

31st - University of Bath
middle of the range, but pretty impressive for an overwhelmingly religious uni
