So that Fast Show thing. Sadly, all it did was remind me how often their sketches died on their arse, as often as when they were hilarious. For example I thought the Ron Manager 'Sexist commentators' thing was just crass, not funny at all and totally out of shape for the character. The Fast Show was never about satire, especially satire that's actually woefully out of date. The problem they've also got is no Mark Williamson and very little Caroline Aherne, which means they can't really do quite a few of their most famous/popular sketches.
On the other hand I did think the 'brilliant!' sketch was actually quite good and the thing with the artist who goes a bit bonkers at the mention of the word 'black' was very well written. For a moment, you actually thought he was cured... And of course Rowley Birkin is always good value.
I'll probably watch the second part, but I can't help thinking they should have left well alone. Or at least only made one show and been REALLY harsh in what made the cut.

The Fast Show always was about 85% boring, the problem is the humour was based on very superficial memes which were funny because of the anticipation of knowing exactly what was coming but you just weren't sure when. But all of the characters became too familiar, so some of the team tried to make it more vulgar, in an effort to force the humour, which for me didn't sit well with the good natured silliness of their best sketches. I think they invented a new comedy format which even they didn't know where it was going and not all of the team understood how it worked.

The two recent episodes of Click have been brilliant - smart guns and European space exploration!

‘DAREDEVIL’ Loses Drew Goddard But Gains a Buffy Alum! http://schmoesknow.com/daredevil-loses- ... lum/23786/They couldn't handle the villains in ASM2 (it's bad when the box office actually shows that these days), so 3 would need to be an absolute knockout before taking on Sinister Six.

Person of Interest is one of the best sci-fi shows being made today. End transmission.

Last night I finished the first season of Misfits. There's not one of the main characters I find likeable. The only character I was actually rooting for got killed towards the end of the season. All the main characters are one-dimensional stereotypes. There's only six episodes in the first season, and with such a short amount of time you'd think they'd want to build in some likability to the main characters. If it wasn't for the recommendation of a friend, I'd not be progressing on to the second season, but let's wait and see what that brings.

Soooooo the retention period for 4od regarding this show is just a week. Well that sucks. I'll now have to procure the penultimate episode from somewhere if I want to watch the final episode using 4od before next Friday. Mark

I have so many other shows to watch before I even consider starting this one. It's not a bad time for good TV shows right now. Mark
