The only thing I know for definite is that the same bloody actors turn up in everything, as Henry somewhat mentions. But I just want whoever is best for the role, I don't care where they came from etc.

Lady Flo? How did that happen? I'm not being nasty, but I can only remember her from Play School and Play Away. (Just looked her up on Wikipedia, she did a lot of stuff in the background, it sounds like it is deserved, but I can't say I remember her in any of the other roles mentioned.) Good for her.

Back on topic, I am watching his BAFTA speech, he is very interesting and a good speaker.

I can't judge on the British entertainment industry, but I can say, from looking at German TV, that it isn't a uniquely British problem. There are several ethnic actors here, but they get re-used a lot. That said, if you look at the dramas being made here in general, about 2 dozen actors seem to appear in 80% of productions, I'm not talking about ethics here, I mean all, including white Germans.

I've shared a platform with her several times speaking at accessibility and social inclusion events. In all fairness she has been working hard in that arena for years.

Several members of the Accessible Bristol project have also recently got gongs its good to see them being recognised as far as I'm concerned.

Gets off favourite soap box. :D
