Are you talking about a shopping centre being a group of shops near a high street or a mall or one of those out of town retail parks?
I regularly go round to our local town shopping as it has all the basics there & I like to get meat from the butchers for the sunday roast. I rarely go to mall type shopping centres. I pop to the retail parks occasionally as they open until 8pm and are not busy on weekday evenings.

That's the opposite side of London to me so no. I did go 30 years ago when I was a teenager.
