http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gotham-City-14- ... y+14+milesFree since I've got Amazon Prime, really interesting so far (I'd no idea just how far the merchandising went, it sounds like it could have challenged the '89 blow-out).

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00JRH8CKC/r ... cs_7_titleGot it free with Prime (I own the paperback but this has been updated and it would be good to read it again). Also reading a sample on novel writing...

Billion Dollar Batman - just a sample at the moment, but I'll be borrowing it through Prime. It's a look at the figures/mediums for the character in different decades.

Well I finished The Broken Souls and it ended as badly as it started. No more JA Kerley for me! In other news it does mean I can finally start Apathy and Other Small Victories (paperback) and The End of Mr Y (Kindle).

Still reading that Batman book (these days Burt Ward would have sued them back to the Stone Age for all the near-death accidents!), but next I've got to decide on the TMNT Visual Guide (physically heavy and detailed, with pull-out reproduction documents!) or J. Jackson Bentley's free Kindle crime books.

Knick Knack Paddy Whack - I'd forgotten about Kindle's Lending Library... This seems to have been taken directly from a soldier's diary, complete with spelling mistakes and sometimes hard to follow ramblings. If it wasn't for the occasional LOL moment re. 'The Troubles' I'd have returned it already.

Just starting the last Reacher book to complete the set, The Enemy. I've got about 30 pages of Native Tongue by Carl Hiaasen to finish first and that has been an odd book. Part comedy, part thriller. Took me a while to get into it but I will definitely look out for more of Hiaasen's work.

Have you tried any of the Nordic writers? Jussi Adler Olesen and Asa Larsson I can recommend

I'm currently reading Scott Mariani - The Nemesis Program. It's the latest in his Ben Hope series

I bought Scotland's Jesus last night. Not sure why. I think because it was cheap maybe. I need to stop buying other stuff and actually work through my Amazon wish list really.

I've read one of those, The Mozart Conspiracy, I think. It was good from what I remember of it (this is the problem with reading in work).
