Last week, I paid £7.60 for a new inhaler. I did not choose to be asthmatic, but it seems that I have to pay for the privilege to breathe normally. People choose to smoke and the associated health problems. I really think that they should not be rewarded for stopping without there being support in the form of free prescriptions for those with chronic respiratory ailments, such as asthma.
