Just found out my Uncle died in the night. I'm a bit stunned, we weren't close, but he was only 3 years older than my Dad which brings his mortality to the front of my mind. :?

Yeah, that's what's bothering me. Not sure how I'll react when it actually *is* my Dad or Mum. I guess I won't know until I get there and will depend on the circumstances.

The loss of a parent is one that stays with you for the rest of your life as there will always be times when you think "Oh I want to tell Mum that" or "Dad would like this".
