Hahahahahahaha
I am actually wearing my Logan's Run jumper tonight (not actually a Logan's Run jumper, but it's black with a grey stripe across it just the same as the ones in the show/film).

trying to understand what that "mmm" is, in my mind it just reminds me of a stammer or a sound a tourettes sufferer would make/do

Think more Homer Simpson "mmmmm, donuts" rather than "m.m.m.m.m.MONKEYS!"

Set up a Twitter account to get a discount on something, got an email saying there had been a suspicious login attempt (didn't click on that)... Try to deactivate my account cos I'll never use it and get told you can't do that from a mobile device

all the stories in the news about WW1 and WW2 are starting to sound really unhealthy. My grand fathers and great grand fathers were POW and drafted workers in Germany, their farms were destroyed in WW1 and WW2. If you walk around where I'm from in the Somme, anywhere you go there is thousands of British tombs everywhere.

I really think the message about the atrocity of war and why it should never be repeated is being lost to the profit of "hollywood -style action".

I would agree with that.

I was driving along Chislehurst High Street this afternoon and was behind a small open lorry used by a company that do tree surgery and wood chipping, etc. It seems one of their selling points is that they take everything away afterwards. Well not everything, because as we progressed along the High Street a handful of food packaging was ejected from the passenger side window, followed by an empty can of coke. These items just landed on the pavement. I don't think I'm a particularly intolerant person but there isn't much that makes my blood boil faster than littering. I know it can seem trivial in the greater scheme of things but it's the sheer ignorance and selfishness that gets to me.

I noted the name of the company and am considering my options.
