ION, I've gone back to White Collar and it's actually got an arc going after some dull episodes.

DC Entertainment Actively Pitching A Supergirl TV Series, With Michael Green?

http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/09/03/ ... ael-green/

I'd like that to be a success since the studios appear to doubt you can 'sell' a female superhero. Ignoring the fact that female heroes tend to arrive in bad shows to start with.

And on the same page:

Judge Dredd Goes Partwork

Quote:
The British, and regular non-British readers of this site, should be familiar with the concept of the “partwork”. A large body of work, chopped up into bite sized portions, serialised as a magazine and sold through British newsagents.

Usual price £9.99!!!

Walking Dead spin-off
http://schmoesknow.com/the-walking-dead ... lot/28791/

'I say, Crawford's in a tight spot!'

I want a Belfast Walking Dead. Honestly, we wouldn't need much make-up or anything...

ION, new season Arrow and SHIELD trailers are available, apparently.

Some of you may have seen my earlier tweet about strictly, but I thought it worth repeating.

Loving (the wife's commentary of) Strictly... Talk about catty, and I don't mean the bird from Mrs Brown's Boys! Let the fun begin...

Sent from my big ass Sony Xperia Z Ultra tabphonelet, using Tapatalk 4.

I've been watching this develop with interest.
Marvel may have the cinema screens, but DC is definately in the lead regarding TV screens.
Obviously it depends on how things develop, but DC has a much longer history of making their characters work on TV.
I do hope that this Supergirl show doesn't end up the way of Wonder Woman a few years back. Hopefully they can learn from those past mistakes, because I think Supergirl needs a break, after the terrible film in the '80s.
If they treat it like Smallville then I think it'll work nicely, but I guess with it being a different network it'll likely be handled differently.

.>>+1, though I couldn't stand Smallville! That felt like one of those shows full of 'plastics' that young women watch these days... I'd sooner have watched Lois and Clark, in all seriousness :o

BTW, Arrow is awesome once you get past the first few episodes if you haven't seen it. I'm dying to see Gotham
