Who would live here? And yes I know it's a Daily Mail post :P

Concept house is pinned to the side of a cliff

yes

Although if it was a James Bond's Villains house it would detach from the cliff and turn into a sub - now that would be cool 8-)

Nope. Always a risk of it falling into the sea. Would be cool for an Iron-Man or Batman type hide out.

This is just a concept, but no, I wouldn't live in a house like that.
I'd rather live up a mountain than on a cliff.

Also face it, you'd never have clean windows.

Doesn't look that big. Where would I put the home cinema set-up?

Nope.
Not because of the house, but because I find sea views boring.
Put that in the edge of a lake where there's something to see on the other side and I'd love it.

I've just had another look at the article, and it claims that there is a video, if you scroll down, but I'm damned if I can see it. Am I being old and blind, or just my usual dense self?

It does seem a flawed concept to me. All cliffs suffer from erosion at one pace or other, so the property is going to become unsafe at some point. If you could guarantee it would still be there as long as you yourself lived then maybe, but as it stands.. Also, what effect would salt corrosion have on it? And you would have to clean the windows, salt water splatter = encrusted salt. Eventually the windows would look like they had frost on them all the time, and that would spoil the whole point.

Also, where are your utilities coming from? Fresh water, power, sewage removal? It's not going to be anywhere near any of the main supply lines, is it?
