Yep Daily fail again but interesting point. You give your kids what you think is a great name (even if the rest of the world think you're an idiot) then they grow up and tell you they don't like it. Personally I only know one person who has changed their name in adult life and he had a great name to start with.

I wonder how Apple and Moses feel about their names?

'She doesn't like her name!' Peter Andre reveals his eldest daughter hates being called Princess Tiaamii

Most kids at some point want to change their name. The more esoteric, the more the desire to be "normal".

He hates it because she's not stupid.
Unlike her parents who gave her such a ridiculous name in the first place.

There is stigma attached to more "colourful/ popular" names and people attach certain personality traits to certain names.
In France, there was a trend to call kids in the 80/90s after Beverly Hills characters. Trying to find a job when you're called Brandon and Kimberley is really difficult.

So the whole story about how in France there's a defined list of names and you're legally required to pick your baby's name off it is bunk?

You're thinking of iceland ;)

in France that was relaxed in 1993, in particular to allow regional first names (Breton, Basque etc) to be used. Names that are not in the interest of the child are forbidden
