After finishing a presentation for next week, I went to rename it on the server and my finger slipped and I hit delete by mistake. The last backup copy I had was 3 hours old.

You've got to love Apple at times.
Downloading the Mavericks 10.9.5 update through the App Store/Software Update (139 MB) - about 25 minutes to download on my (currently) ~ 18 Mbit/sec broadband connection. The combo updater (937MB) from the Apple support website - 6 minutes at the same time as the other download is going on in the background. Me thinks they've perhaps got their server priorities a bit wrong somewhere.

Today is shaping up really well. Last day of holiday. was woken up just after 7 this morning by a delivery driver dropping off a new printer - received confirmation that it would be delivered today at about 9:30.
Also managed to do my back slipping in the shower. Back to work tomorrow so that'll be fun.

PayPal support. Every bloody time I have to contact them, it’s like dealing with imbeciles. Well, actually, I think you are dealing with imbeciles.
A client wants to do something with PayPal, and we need to find out if a feature will work in the UK - there seems to be confusions as to whether it does or if it’s restricted to the USA. Client calls them, they say “yes” - but we need to drop a line to their support desk by email. Which is what I do.
I specifically say that we’re working out of the UK, and the account is a UK one. The reply implies that it is possible, but sends me to a page which shows (a) US-centric stuff (and I am sure I’ve seen that page before when looking into the subject at hand), and (b) all the screen shots are from Ye Olde PayPal (PayPal has overhauled itself and things are not as they were).
Anyway, assuming that maybe these instructions will help, I send the link to a client. Just got an email back - the link does not work. And, no, it doesn’t. It’s a “Sorry this page doesn’t exist” page instead.

I heard them called “wisdom stripes” a while back. My wife, who is a little bit older than you are, is having people ask her if her white stripe was put in by a salon, and where she got it done.

It's so much easier being a man. Going grey? Not a problem, it just makes us look distinguished! Why is the same not said of women? A little unfair, if you ask me. Sent from my big ass Sony Xperia Z Ultra tabphonelet, using Tapatalk 4.
