What I hate is that he'll only get hit for this one unless more people come forward, which is maybe more likely now. He should get a custodial sentence, anybody doing that should.

Well, he'll get hit for what they can prove to the satisfaction of a jury. That's the way our justice system works. And has done for hundreds of years.

I suspect he might get a suspended sentence to be honest, which will no doubt cause dismay and gnashing of teeth in several circles.

That noise is BBC4 scrambling to find programmes to occupy the slot that Top of the Pops 1979 (and beyond) that he presented would have occupied. Probably with more Portillo on his train journeys with his [LIFTED] “Bradshaw”.

He fit suspended sentence and I am so pleased. It was a different world years ago and I'm sure a lot these accusations are embellishments of something that was intended as harmless fun.
