I've finally watched an episode of The Blacklist deserving of a rating above mediocre. It was a two parter in series one. No more details given as I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone.

An episode does not an opinion make. You have to watch them all to fully appreciate it. I will not have a bad word said against my James. Thank you very much!

Gotham episode 2 was seriously laying on the cheese with it's side villains to the point of looking like one of the Schumacher films :(

It's still getting characterisation out of the way since it introduced so many people in the pilot. For that reason I hope Alfred gets more work; he sticks out like a sore thumb at the moment.

ION, I've gone back to SHIELD since it's appeared on Prime - it only took them 7 or 8 episodes to realise plots were a good idea. Now it just needs to get to the right mix...

New Original King Kong Animated TV Series Hitting Netflix

They're not pulling any punches with that one; a connected film first and a 2050 setting (at least for the show)? Ballsy.

Why the hell are they already remaking a TV series that only started last year. Makes no sense at all.

If it's been a success here, they rejig it with more native accents. Unless they want someone to play a baddie, then it's the full English ;)

Gone Girl - people actually sat there stunned at the end of our screening. And not in a good way. Picture the look on a face of someone who didn't understand Fight Club...
