To be honest I think our interest rates will be dictated by the Eurozone recovery, or lack there of.
If it doesn't recover because of politics there (eg France massively overspending at the moment) then our exports etc will suffer long term. That will force the BoE to keep rates lower for longer to keep our economy going.

Just got a new five year fixed incase they went up next year as rumoured. But I'd be delighted if they were still almost as low in five years when it runs out.
