New tips for my gas iron. The old tip was taking an age to heat up solder enough to remove it from PCBs.

Fitted a new one and it worked in seconds, and I fixed my son's dead monitor in two minutes.

Amazon FireTV.

It is very good. The video quality is excellent, much better than on my Core i7 laptop!

I've watched a few films now and watched Crossbones, which wasn't bad.

Negative points are the lack of OV material (original soundtrack) and most films I've searched for aren't on Prime (which isn't the devices problem). Nearly everything is available only in German, a few films and series are available to buy in English.

I tried searching for westerns, all the John Wayne and Clint Eastwood films cost between 3€ and 11€. The same for Cary Grant.

I don't know how good Prime is in the UK.

It was certainly worth the investment.

I tried watching Homeland and Breaking Bad, but I couldn't get into either of them really.

If it's got Crossing Lines give it a go, Dave. In the UK at least we've got Rush, a film about F1's James Hunt if that's your thing. Sposed to be good, haven't had a chance to watch it myself yet.

Redbubble. They sent me a 20% off offer which obviously wasn't worth much considering initial cost and postage, but when you put it towards a gift certificate you can select the value of... ;)

Frustratingly they don't have a raphael version of your donatello t-shirt nor do they have a raphael version of the "leonardo leads" tee.

I was only able to find it by looking up the designer of my own - I think their search system's only as good as it's tags.

I'm almost certain I saw the other one too, give me a minute...

High levels of FAIL here, is that it? Or is it more of a face with crossed weapons and text on scrolls? I was hoping to use the Leo version to jump to a Raph version but, oh, the FAIL...

That it? Never used that site. Turns out different t-shirts and designers have used the 'cool but crude' title.

I have a USB stick that's LED pulses really brightly and orange, so I bought some electrical tape to cover it lest I get unwanted gentleman callers

Still going mad with the t-shirts...

They'll lie in their wrappers for months but they always get worn eventually :)

I've also ordered a Spider-Man decal for the PS4 controller's stupid LED bit, and a 3m USB cable to charge the bugger.
