You could point out that every week a mysterious 3rd party with a hidden agenda provides limited information for the purposes of thwarting a criminal enterprise. All the while a shadowy plot emerges in the background, ethical dilemmas abound and the consequences of past actions catch up with everyone all the time. It's Person of Interest, but remixed with slightly more Sherlock Holmes/NCIS, and a little less MacGuyver/Chuck.

Or you could just say that The Blacklist is a damn good show that's worth watching!

So are many of the shows I watch! There's two seasons of White Collar alone, and I may or may not go back to Extant. It's worth pointing out that I have three streaming services and games rental too

The Demand 5 app on the PS4 is the biggest crock of sh!t ever. I decided to catch up on Gotham (I didn’t realise it was on, so I use this app to play it). The experience was dreadful. There are about three adverts they keep showing before AND during the stream (and you can’t skip them), and every time the stream got dropped (which seemed to be every 15 minutes or so), I had to restart, watch the SAME pre-roll adverts, and then wind through to a point somewhere near where the stream got dropped.
It was truly awful. I have another episode to watch this way, but I’ve got my PS3 set up to record the rest of the series, which, thankfully, means I can stop the adverts,

I find all the catchup services other than iPlayer have an utterly awful user experience, regardless of the platform you're viewing them on. 4OD has the 'unskippable ads that you'll have to watch again if the stream restarts' too. I pretty much don't use them any more. Jon

+1. Re Gotham, first episode was good but it's gotten worse.

RUMOR DU JOUR: Is David Goyer Developing a KRYPTON Series Based On Superman’s Home Planet? http://schmoesknow.com/rumor-du-jour-is ... net/30702/It was certainly the only bit of the film worth watching. It could be a new Bablyon 5 if they handled it right, though the truth is you could do almost anything you wanted with it since Krypton has no detailed history. IIRC it's inhabitants actually need a gravity-less environment and a yellow sun for their latent powers to activate...
