http://www.theguardian.com/music/musicb ... -you-agreeHard to disagree, probably the best from those listed IMO. I think I mentioned before that I prefer GNR's Live and Let Die to the original, Robbie William's Freedom's quite good, Don't Leave Me This Way by The Communards is a belter, as is their version of You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)...

It's a brilliant version, there's no doubt. Billy Idol brought a few songs to life IMO.

I find that band reprehensible full stop.

I can't believe they managed to take all of the fun out of such a simple song.

My favourite is probably Florence Welch's version of 'You Got the Love'. Her version of 'You Got The Love' with added Dizzy Rascal iis anabomination where the original audio files needed to be deleted, then the computer containing them needed to be ground down into ash. Then the ash needed to be scattered in an active volcano.

I'm finding it very hard to take the list seriously given the god-awful piece of [LIFTED] they have in first place. Most of the rest should at least be there (although Leona Lewis can [LIFTED] right off). Ryan Adams' cover of Wonderwall should be a lot higher up.

Hell yes. A heartfelt song shot through with pain, regret and loss pleading for forgiveness turned into an adenine piece of trashy europop by a pair of art school arseholes. I mean, seriously, WTF?

Also seriously missing Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Fanfare for the Common Man. Ruddy excellent piece.

I'm struggling to picture anything with Fearne Cotton in it as being a 'crack team'.

Look, it's hard to find BBC types who aren't about to star in their own investigation, alright?

I like that they have this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNzCDt2eidgProof that modern pop music IS good, if you look hard enough.

Just realised that Ram Jam - Black Betty is not on the list for some inexplicable reason.
