Never done it and am really not interested. I rather like the fact that I've reached the ripe old age of 45 and have never suffered a broken bone.

Having said that I did suffer from a sore wrist after playing "Horace goes skiing" for several hours on my Dragon 32 computer in the early 1980's. I guess that's a sort of skiing injury lol

I used to love Horace Goes Skiing. Must've been about six years old when I first played it. I was so fascinated by (and crap at) the first bit (crossing the road), that I didn't even realise there was a second bit (skiing) until much later.

I'd go skiing again if I was certain to be able to get boots that didn't cripple my feet. I got to the point last year where I was barely able to walk after skiing.

Then I paid extra to hire done boots but they were far too big and made me unstable.

It was bad enough to put me off going and hiring equipment again.

If you snowboard, then button lifts are the work of Satan. They make your feet and legs hurt so badly. Thankfully it's only indoor places that seem to have them. When I've been on real slopes they all seem to have chair lifts or gondolas.
