Phone won't connect to some wifi's

Hi,
I have a goclever 570 phablet. Up until a few days ago the wifi connectivity was working fine, but since then it won't connect to either my work wifi or home wifi.
it just sits there saying 'Obtaining IP address'. I have reset the router, refound the wifi hubs but still getting the issue. I had the same issue on one hub whilst I was on holiday last week, but various others were fine.
I have no idea how to fix this, can anyone help or point me in the direction of where i can look?
It is an android phone running 4.2.1

Assuming you've tried switching it off & on again, next thing I'd try would be deleting the saved wifi network, letting it detect it then signing in again.
Also might be worth looking on your router/wifi access point to see if it's decided to block the device for some reason.

My phone, yep. I have issues every time I go there.
Obviously I couldn't reset the router as it wasn't mine.
