Strangely enough the detect script has been removed from the theme and the script isn't there.

Lots of files to go through still

Unlikely. This would happen if you went to http://www.x404.co.uk/forum - but people are saying that it isn’t if they go straight there.

The only time I’ve seen this is when I’ve gone to http://www.x404.co.uk - which is a WordPress based page, and I don’t think TapaTalk kicks in there at all.

I'm using the forum bookmark index.php on the safari homepage as a favourite both on ipad and iphone. This is when it appears to happen, but not every time.

Ah - OK. I thought it was just the very top of the site. Yes, it’s not consistent, though you can trigger it more often by connecting via a VPN service and changing your location.

I access it from a bookmark in Safari (iOS 7.1.2), which is set to this address:
index.php

Doesn't always redirect though, so it's probably a hard one to pinpoint.

Strangely, Tapatalk seems to be working again, so might go back to using that again

Just out of interest - are you going straight to the forum pages, or to the start page:

I'm reloading a tab which is sitting on the Index page of the forum.
The session then works incident free, but then when I go back and reload the tab to check any unread/new posts after a while the redirect happens again.
And yes, the redirect happened again when I came here to check this thread.
