US PlayStation Now subscription details revealed http://www.techradar.com/news/gaming/co ... ed-1278929Unless the selection's eventually enormous, and I doubt that it ever will be considering PSN today, in every way at those prices I'd still be better either renting through a company or just buying the games second hand they're that cheap now. No streaming issues or lag, you get to keep the games, lend or sell them... I don't know how many times I've seen Sony break or lose the run of their own systems of every description in the last two years alone.

The only advantage I can see is if there are games in there you really, really want to play again but no longer have the hardware available to play them on and no wish to re-acquire it. It's very much a convenience thing.

Nyko Databank lets you stick a 3.5-inch hard drive onto your PS4 http://www.techradar.com/news/gaming/co ... s4-1279500 Honestly though, I'd probably still do something like that than fanny about with external drives etc.

The infamous spin off game is surprisingly good. If anything better than it's 'bigger brother'. If you didn't like any of the other ones it's probably still not your thing. I played The Swapper a bit. It's a bit like a 2D Portal. Very dark though. I really don't much see the point of the Duke Nukem thing. It's a really old, primitive game. Juicing up the graphics a bit doesn't make it anything other than an old, primitive game.

Yeah, there was something about the spin-off - it felt more focused somehow. The Swapper - the darkness did put me off a bit in the gameplay vid I watched. It's quite often a way of simplifying the look of indie games and obviously cutting back on the work involved. Duke - Never underestimate nostalgia!

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/48 ... r-for-psn/So you [LIFTED] up and now for three whole days you're offering derisory compensation on your laughably overpriced store. Yeah.

They've already extended people's PS+ memberships for the period of the outage, that was probably all they were legally required to do. And at the end of the day, the outage was due to malevolent action by a third party, not anything they did wrong. Feel entitled much?

PS4 beta patch may include suspend and resume function http://www.gamesradar.com/ps4-beta-patc ... -function/No doubt they'll break something else. I've lost count of how many times they've broken low power mode on my system.

Spotify now available on PS4 and PS3 http://www.gamesradar.com/ps3-ps4-spotify-details/Personally I'd only want it for when they can manage to get certain franchises back on track, like GTA and COD. Though it might not be bad for beat em ups now that I think of it... I wouldn't use it otherwise.

Good, Lord. What are they going to do to it in those 9 hours? Hastily MD5 all those plain text passwords, perhaps?

Take the hamster out of the wheel. It's only supposed to be an hour's freedom but it takes 8 more hours for them to catch it again.
