I'd forgotten that 800Mb CDs existed... Question is whether Nero will work even after activating overburn or whatever it's called.

Thing I found out today - There's a camera in the Statue of Liberty's torch, which is pointed back at the statue's head and takes a photo every hour. Basically, the SoL is taking lots of selfies.

In light of the shooting of a baby boy by a five year old, this also washed up:

Quote:
Firearms Company Boycotts Liam Neeson Over 'Too Many Guns' Comments
The US gun manufacturer which supplied weapons for ‘Taken 3’ has severed ties with its star Liam Neeson over comments he made about gun control in the States.

PARA USA says it regrets providing guns to the filmmakers and that it will no longer work with Neeson or films he appears in.
A statement from the firm, seen on Facebook by the Washington Times states, “While the film itself is entertaining, comments made by its Irish-born star during press junkets reflect a cultural and factual ignorance that undermines support of the Second Amendment and American liberties.”
“We will no longer provide firearms for use in films starring Liam Neeson and ask that our friends and partners in Hollywood refrain from associating our brand and products with his projects. Further, we encourage our partners and friends in the firearms industry to do the same.”

The Irish star was speaking to Gulf News in the wake of the Paris shootings when he said, “There’s too many f****** guns out there. Especially in America. I think the population is like, 320 million? There’s over 300m guns. Privately owned, in America. I think it’s a disgrace.”

'Taken 3' didn't suffer from Neeson's negative comments and the film shot to the top of box office here and in the States, taking over £100m since it was released on 8 January.

He's right, but he's also the guy basically remaking Taken once a year now.

For this to happen to someone who so clearly enjoys the process of performing and writing songs (like them (or him) or not), it would be a tremendous blow to that person.

Yeah but he's loaded *shrugs*

Not the same kind of impact as someone unable to work due to injury who doesn't have wads of cash

Absolutely.
I wonder how far away you need to be from Brian Blessed whispering not to suffer hearing damage. :D

Holy crap. I'm going to have a lot of walking to do at work when I land here in a couple of days.
Living on L, working on X.
I've never been to anything that big before.
