Being the PowerPoint King means you have problems when users suddenly get Macs and Co. and want to convert to iWorks or OpenOffice.

I had to look at converting my prsentations to iWorks, but from the 200 animation steps on the first slide, it deleted 180 and didn't let me add the missing ones back! So we gave up on that.

If you are the King, that must make me the Kaiser.

No, what it means is that I took a completely ordinary, and some would say boring, half made presentation that the wife needed for an observation this morning, and turned it into something awesome, in less time than it takes to watch an episode of Death in Paradise.

Of course, that meant missing Death in Paradise, but that's what iPlayer is for.

My car does not cope well with ice on the roads at all. The temp going up a couple of degrees not only means the air con is on a bit lower, it also means I'm less likely to need the upholstery cleaning.

air con ~= 'climate control'. warm, not cold.

The Air con/CC in my car (11 plate Focus) switches itself on if you're trying to clear the windscreen.

It does that because AC dries the air in the car, helping clear the water vapour that's condensed on the glass.

I thought all Fords had those annoying electric wires in the windscreens for clearing them?

It's a base spec Edge trim and it doesn't have the rapid clear windscreen. I think, at the time, that was a Zetec and up thing.
On the plus side, I guess if it ever needs replaced it will be cheaper than a rapid clear one.
