Had one for a while until I dropped it :(. Seemed to work quite well if you get it hot enough first. Made the pizza really crispy.

RE: using a pail - make sure you put some oil or semolina on the pail is you're going to put the pizza in the oven with it, or it'll stick. To be honest though, you don't really need the pail if you're using a stone.

It's a Pro Cook (around 11 inch) and it's done the job. Fiver on Amazon plus postage.

I'll try to upload a pic later of the Pizza.

We have one and it's brilliant, perfectly cooked bases every time, they don't even do the flopp-in-the-middle thing when you pick up a slice if you get it hot enough 8-)

For my birthday I got....

This stone: http://www.amazon.co.uk/ProCook-Pizza-Stone-28cm-11in-x/dp/B00O90CCZI/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1422907251&sr=8-5&keywords=pizza+stone+11
This peel: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00557NDRK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1422907264&sr=8-1&keywords=pizza+peel
This cutter: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fred-PIBOSS-Pizzaboss-Cutter-Blue/dp/B001XSFW42/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1422907284&sr=8-2&keywords=fred+pizza+cutter

I used the Jamie Oliver dough recipe: http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/recipe/pizza-dough/#ZuwKpoxYtyTMhVWO.97 to make this...

It was very nice!

Stone went in when oven was cold and I turned it up as high as it would go for 45 minutes before cooking on it.

Looks like way too much effort and expense for just a pizza, in my opinion.

frozen/none stone baked pizzas are [LIFTED] in comparison, I don't tend to bother with them, especially Dominos/Pizza Hut and worst of all... Goodfellas.

Once you start making your own, and once you figure out what toppings you like, (and you really should experiment) the shop bought ones will seem very, very inferior.
