I'm working for the wrong company1 If we have an onsite installation, we have to be there for 08:00 and we work through until it is finished.

We are getting a new telephone system from Deutsche Telekom. Their engineers turn up at 9:30 and work until 3:30, then they pack up and drive back home, because they live about an hour and a half from our site!

Sounds like BT (well Open Reach)
I wanted 6 lines installing in one of our sites all into the same wiring panel / block - 4 engineers turn up (3 jobs assigned to 1 engineer and each of the others had 1 job each)

Who are the fcuktards who design antivirus software? If they're not quarantining clean bits of programs, they're telling you you've got spyware they can't fcuking fix.

Amazon. Thinking about jacking the whole order in.

Some of the items were third party selling through amazon.co.uk so can't be replaced, have to be refunded. A couple of items were now out of stock. The rest of the order should arrive Monday. We think. It took me an hour on the live chat thing to sort out.

All this because of their delivery company, Yodel.

I'd be asking Amazon for goodwill compensation, bare minimum. Maybe telling them you'll be contacting the consumer association to see if there's any other Yodel complaints (I've done similar in the past). Amazon sells itself as quick delivery from the world's warehouse and any amount of side services, so it's not on.

So they've sent out their replacement order. Surprise surprise it's via Yodel again. The feckers couldn't find their way out of a paper bag so I've got no confidence in them. I wish retailers would give us the option of courier services.

I was about the praise RM since I've never had issues but I ordered some contacts with next business day delivery. Turns out RM sent it to the wrong depot so instead of arriving yeserday, it's going to arrive today.

WTF is going on with deliveries?"?!?

We have very few problems with RM over here compared to England, seemingly. Our suspicious packages usually get to the right place ;)

I ordered some t-shirt's last night from the US, which is good news, but express shipping was over $40 and that was to get them in a week, the $10 shipping I paid didn't really give an indication of when they'd arrive, so it could be years before I see them.

So contact lenses arrived today.
One part of the "new" order arrived.
Still awaiting Kindle, and some books.

It seems like every few days I can't see anything on YouTube because those [LIFTED] at Adobe have seen fit to [LIFTED] dick around with Flash.

Yeah, you can't talk

Quote:
In March 2014 it was reported that the RBS Group was considering merging the bank with some of its rivals in order to reduce its holding. RBS Group's annual results for 2013 revealed Ulster Bank had operating losses of £1.5 billion and accounted for a fifth of the parent group's total bad debts.

Greedy fcukwits like you are why there's austerity measures in the first place, bailout boy! Meanwhile the public sector is the only thing keeping Ulster from chaos of every description.

Grrr! Damned Telekom, first day the engineer didn't turn up, he was on a first aid course. 4th day he didn't turn up, he was on a training course. 5th day he didn't turn up, there was a major outage in North Germany that he needed to respond to.

Okay, the last one I can understand, but that they couldn't either inform us in advance that he wouldn't be coming, or they couldn't rearrange his training around the installation appointment flabbers my gast!
