AMC Orders 2 Seasons Of THE WALKING DEAD Spin-off + First Image Released!!!

Kim Dickens is great in every way. You've seen her in a million shows but she's good enough that you won't always have recognised her (Deadwood, SOA, House of Cards, even Gone Girl).

SHIELD is on a roll since it came back :D

I laughed when I read about a character leaving Gotham - they're one of the most interesting people in it, even though their story hasn't really gone anywhere. Typical for that show I spose. There was some hilariously bad CGI in an attempt to shock in the last episode... They haven't even got the wit to make the villains stand out enough that when they actually do something off the wall it properly grabs your attention. As opposed to looking like something from a Troma film.

Looking forward to Arrow and Flash coming back next week. Grimm's back too. I'm also hopeful that Agent Carter did well enough to warrant a run.

House of Cards - I'll not say when, but I think they jumped the shark this season. Got a bit too knowing and weird.

Yeah, they've either set up an amazing 4th season, or kind of crapped the formula. That Russian president they dreamt up is actually more absurd than the real thing.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is pretty good though for those who liked 30 Rock. Little plot, insane characters, great lines - my favourite being "This dog's anus is purely decorative".

House of Cards Season 3. Just finished it, it was often majestic. I had a few gripes. The thing with Rachel, that just seemed tagged on and didn't follow fron the character progression of Doug , it was disappointing, like they felt they needed to do Breaking Bad. it felt like an ending which could have been great , but it wasn't a natural organic progression from the events leading up to it. They went for "Big dramatic surprise!" but ended up at "Erm where did that come from?". Season 2 was better, but it was a fantastic effort to try to recreate that. spent too long being depressive and not enough time being fun. Weirdo writer character added only wet naval gazing. Journalist storyline just amounted to questions at a press conference.

America Works was a problem throughout (nothing about that was believable), but the whole Petrov thing was just laughable. As was that sex scene. You know the one

'Let The Right One In' is a fantastic film. It's subtle in the way Hollywood horror films hardly ever are. The Hollywood version is not as good, but that still makes it better than 90% of Hollywood horror films.

A TV series of it is only ever going to be a pale shadow of the original treatment.

Don't mind if I do, Fox says.

+1

Watching my box set at the rate of one episode a day and enjoying revisiting this world. Should be done by the time series 10 is ready for transmission.
