I don't wish to sound like a sexist gonad but the women impressed me and the men didn't.

I'm not keen on that Scottish lady but I thought she came across as the best one by a long way.
Certainly not voting Green - seemed to be lots of interesting ideas but not a clue where the money would come from.

From talking to people and looking at the press coverage there seems a very strong sense that the big three were playing 'The Westminster Game' - very managed, very 'pre-processed', obsessed with continually sticking to the points their campaign managers have told them they need to get into everybody's heads, whereas the smaller party's leaders seemed more interested in actually debating the issues. I think that put a lot of people off the major party leaders. People aren't fools, they can see when someone basically isn't interested in thinking about what's happening or what's being presented to them, they're just sticking to a pre-ordained plan.

At best they are actors, they've learned their lines, know what the "key phrases" to drop in are. They try to improvise, but end up sound like post match football team captains. I watched it, but felt that the minority parties did better than the three Wesminister ones did. And Farage could only talk about the foreigners.
Actually, if you watched QuestionTime last night, an audience member made a very good observation. He said that the reason that Farage is doing so well is because he isn't polished in PR and spin - he appears more normal than the others. My opinion is that Farage is very media savvy, and he knows that this kind of presentation works, so he almost over does it to the point of parody. However, the point was made and made well.
