You're welcome That Suits boss woman was in Revenge for a bit. Think she won't be in it much longer though.

Arrow - More of the 'building up to the finale' business which usually means little plot, really. Gets especially wearisome when you've an idea how these things usually go in the comics. Still brilliant with characterisation though, really top notch.
Flash - Again, brilliant characterisation, interesting villain, good show. Also has a fantastic crossover moment for geeks.
Gotham - An episode that's better handled than most because it actually focuses on a handful of characters in the main, but still manages to fcuk it up with the endless procession of just plain lazy scenarios. Months ago a revenge scene was averted, for instance. Now, totally out of the blue, both characters have decided to go to war with each other despite neither actually knowing this. Probably because last week's somewhat conclusion of a big thread doesn't even get hinted at this week!
Oh, and this show has a misogynistic streak a mile long. And so many predictable scenarios stem from it... I can't tell if someone's read too much Freud or actually needs to read more.
Apparently there's a bit of a cull coming, going by a few actors' hints. Maybe that's why season 2 is creating some behind the scenes buzz. That can't happen quick enough. The show has all the right ingredients, it just needs someone with a recipe and a willingness to stand over the pot...
SHIELD - Again, building up to something, but the humour and backstory are brilliant at the moment.

Watched all 6 episodes of Peter Kay's new comedy, Car Share. Fantastic, as good as Phoenix Nights if you liked that, brilliantly written and the woman who plays opposite him as Kayleigh is excellent - they've been friends for years and she's worked on most of his previous material, which I think shows in their on-screen chemistry. It's such a simple idea but Kay's observational comedy lifts it to a higher level, watch out for the quirky road-side signs ("Brazillians, while you wait") and the fictional radio channel, Forever FM. Great attention to detail, you'll see something new every time you watch it.
Catch it on t'iPlayer before it airs on TV

Finished the 2 series box set of Threesome at the weekend which is currently available on Sky. The Comedy channel doesn't usually show British comedies but this one is a little gem. Quick summary, a couple and their male gay best mate end up having a drug fuelled threesome and she gets pregnant. She then finds out her boyfriend is seedless so the gay guy is the Dad. They decide to have the baby and bring her up in a 3 parent family.
Quite funny and very charming. I enjoyed it.

Yeah Gina. Hadn't seen her in anything else. Was a nice surprise though. She plays the the upper class bitch very well.

X Files gets a silent HD update. http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/36703/ ... ts-netflixWell, some of them, and the digital effects have been upscaled, so it may be a bit Babylon 5 in places.
