I'm at a loss for words...
How can you even begin to justify an act like that to yourself? You'd think at some point it might occur to him just how seriously [LIFTED] up he is but, no, he continued assaulting that same kid for three months!?

Things like that cannot be rationalised by a sane mind. If you asked, you'd no more understand the answer than if he spoke <pick foreign language you don't know a word of>.

i am a firm believer that the death penalty should be brought back some crimes warrant no less of a sentence
it has been stated that no civilised country should have the death sentence and i agree with that but only if all the individual human beings of that country are themselves civilised
sadly we have individuals that are not civilised and not willing to abide by the consensus of a civilised country so forego the rights and protections of a civilised country and if the crime warrants pay the ultimate price with their life ...

We haven't really explored the idea of punitive coma though, if we could take these people and put them in a coma, maintain them on life support etc we could stack them up, save loads of money on guarding, space, nutrition, education and take away a) any impression that they are 'living it up at taxpayers expense' and 2) any argument about the permanency of death sentences!
