I agree. Even I'd vote Labour if it was a seat 'with a chance'.

Shouldn't he have had this change of mind before the deadline to register to vote had passed.

You are operating on the incorrect assumption he actually has any clue what he's talking about.

Milibrand RIP: Russell Brand stages climbdown on support for Ed Miliband | Culture | The Guardian

I can see where he's coming from - even Gove looked astounded last night, and I'm pretty sure he's had surgery

Given all the noise there has been in the run up to this election, and the cold hard fact of the tory win, Katy Hopkins has more clout than Russell. Shock!

I'm not shocked at all. It's the modern fallacy that followers/page hits = influence. It's cobblers. I follow lots of people on twitter or subscribe to their youtube channel who I absolutely would not for a second consider taking advice from. Just because somebody watches your videos doesn't mean they'll do what you say they should. I can't imagine why the notion that just because somebody is popular they are by definition powerful has become so prevalent. It's wishful thinking on the part of advertisers and youtube 'entrepreneurs' who hope to be paid a fortune by them.
