Happy Father's Day everybody.

Today is Christihimmelfahrt in German (Christ's Ascension) and Father's Day, where the men traditionally go off into the forest to hunt or walk around in groups with a "Bollerwagen" (wooden cart, usually like a children's cart, pulled along by a long wooden handle with a T-End handle) full of beer and spirits and they play games on the open road (back roads).

I'll be staying at home and grilling with my wife and the girls.

I've already made the garlic sauce (sour cream, garlic, mustard, Cayenne pepper, paprika, pepper and salt) and we have cut up the vegetables to dip into it, then comes the grilled meat and grilled bread.

Yep - makes a hell of sight more sense than "rows of sticks"

Just got back from our Maennertag walk through the woods in the Ore Mountains. Several beers have been imbibed

Where does everyone go for tech news? I used to use PCPro but they've seem to gone downhill esp since the new changes. CVG has gone too.

I thought it was funny at first but the more I read...

I wonder how much the victory was down to skill of Putins team and how much was down to a desire not to be the victim of a mysterious late night shooting on the streets if Moscow.

It would be funny if he wasn't sitting on the launch codes for Russia's nukes and the not inconsiderable Russian army.
