Assaulted at work again ...

this is the second time this year while trying to stop shop lifters taking £186 worth of whiskey
but this time the person was extremely violent. the security guard had a dislocated knee another staff member got a broken nose
myself received 2 cracked ribs. its seems to be getting more violent
a few days off then back to the front line ...

Blimey. Are you paid enough to be taking that sort of damage? When I was doing bar work, our bosses always told us if someone wanted the till, just hand it over. The company would rather lose a couple of hundred quid than have staff being hurt.

There are plenty of jobs where people are paid basic wages and are regularly subjected to violence.

One of my friends occasionally gets battered and she's a care worker.

first day back at work today (light duties) and will make arrangements to give a statement to the police
