Own the book but have never read it. And somehow every time I try to start a book recently something bloody happens.
I'm not reading anything bad there.
Clearly there's details to be ironed out and Starz could still say 'no', but I'm hoping this gets made, and gets made properly.
It may even get me to re-read the book!

Almost completely unrelated news, but went out for a meal with the wife, her brothers and sister, and their respectives last night, and Peter Kay was sat on the next table from us. There you go... even famous people eat. Who knew?

I suspect we'll see those formats soon.

Bullseye - a classic 80s gameshow that probably ought to have stayed there. Except maybe on Challenge TV where you can relive those memories.

I had Sunday lunch sitting near Kat from Eastenders a few years ago. She said 'Lovely bit of pork this is' and happily signed an autograph after she'd eaten.

My parents had a newsagents shop in York and amongst others we had in there: Shed 7, Hunter the Gladiator, Stonefish from Neighbours and Debbie McGee (Paul waited outside).

Well if we're talking shops I used to work for a bank in the West End and we had loads of people in there:

Tom Baker
Keith Chegwin
Chris Tarrant
Susan Penhaligan
Kevin Rowland (Dexys)
Johnny Ball
Peter Davidson

I also nearly bumped in to Dennis Lawson when out at lunch one day.

Went to the Groucho Club once and saw no one famous. Just my luck :)

I used to live next door to Terry Marshall, (Marshall Amps - Jim's son) years ago. Had a few games of Trivial Pursuit with him and his family. Nice guy.

Spotted Barry Norman happily chatting away to punters in WH Smith over here years ago. I could hardly tell him his reviews of action films were crap ;)
