It's not just that one bridge though. Was in Paris last month and there are a number of similar bridges on the river with pretty much the same thing going on.
I also suspect that unless they put up solid barriers the same thing will start happening as soon as they complete repairs.

It went international - the people of Belfast had full-on bike locks

It is the same for most of Europe, certainly big in Germany, and I think Italy and Spain at least.

It would appear that the PCPro website has been replaced. http://www.pcpro.co.uk is redirecting to:

Strange. The site was fine yesterday and there was no warning this would happen.

They also didn't appear to have updated anything for a few days which I was getting suspicious off. I wondered if they were going to pull the plug like the did with MacUser.

I'm making pizza. Or trying to. In lieu of a wood burning oven I've got a pizza stone bought for my birthday and a peel to stop me hurting myself! I made the dough myself earlier today and will finish it with Italian passata, mozzarella and basil.

So four months on, how are you getting along with the stone/peel/cutter?

Where in the oven have you been placing it?

Bottom shelf. Have used it quite a bit and had friends round who enjoyed it too. I'm using the Jamie Oliver dough recipe (with flour/semolina mix) mainly as it's quicker than the one in my Italian pizza cookbook. I buy my passata and mozarella from Aldi simply as it's where I do most of my shopping and have a basil plant in my kitchen. Aldi also do an Italian meat pack that is cheap and goes well. I also resist the urge to add unnecessary herbs and flavour as the pizza does not need it.

I also make them for the kids using cheddar in place of mozarella and they love it.

The authors of the cookbook I have don't particularly like pizza stones as they argue the oven simply does not get hot enough (I do agree for the most part but using a stone is the best pizza I've ever made at home so...) and recommend a cast iron pan. They heat it to some insane temperature on the stove top before placing the dough on. Then they'll add the toppings and finish it off in the grill.

We've always used a metal pizza tray that has holes in the base. It's meant to be non-stick but over time, it's worn off. It doesn't seem to do much for the middle of the base which always ends up soft/slightly undercooked unless the crust is overcooked.

We have an electric fan oven but have yet to make pizza in it.
