Someone I know just lost their paid 2 hour radio slot because they weren't paying into the station 'milk' fund. That is, in case you're unaware, the office kitty for everyone to have hot drinks basically. Their refusal was based on them being vegan. Milk isn't vegan, obviously. I suspect the station might, in fact, just have been looking for an excuse.

I'm not a lawyer, but surely it depends on the details of their contract? If they had one? They're an utter nightmare, to be frank. They more or less bullied their way into the station, and I can genuinely believe the owner would have been looking for an excuse. Still, seems like a petty thing not to contribute to.

I wouldn't be part of our tea kitty even if I drank tea - some people could start an argument with their own shadow. And the amount of people who think it's OK to use up the last of someone's butter, leave it sitting out for hours, or just help themselves to something because it's there etc. I personally just wouldn't do that.

IT's highly unlikely something as trivial as a milk/drinks fund would be included in someone contract - these things are usually fairly informal affairs, and as Ernie suggests, an area ripe for simmering office feuds.

Meet the Goldbergs. A bit like The Wonder Years but set in the 80s rather than the 70s. More comedic though. Today's episode was a homage to Ferris Bueller's Day Off. They even got Charlie Sheen to reprise his original role.
