You just did. I was under the impression that power blocks should not be used with phones. Still what do I know? Carolyn Redfern Discovery Networks Europe Telecom Engineer

POE injectors are fine with phones providing they provide the correct amount of power. Not every company has the budget for POE switches as they can add a small fortune to the switch price.
I'd rather POE injectors than powered patch panels

Agreed, and if you are like us (around 60 employees, 10 physical phones and 3 DECT stations for 5 mobile devices), where only one device is on a circuit, then it isn't economical to buy a PoE switch just for one device, replacing an 18 month old Level 3 HP ProCurve 24 port managed switch...

Well there's ca 800 people on this site spread across 20+ buildings. Admittedly not every single person has access to a PC all the time and the phone network isn't all IP phones but I don't envy the IT department keeping it all running most of the time. There must be 100's of phones so having them all IP POE ones I imagine would end up being rather expensive if it was done in a oner.

'Women-only' film screening pulled after cinema decides to admit men | Film | The Guardian http://www.theguardian.com/film/2015/ju ... echy-eliasLegally, it reminded me of the Ashers bakery case in that either the law needs to be more specific or we come to individual decisions on what's more relatively important... But either way, religious FAIL.

What possessed them? I imagine most of the people using it have no idea how bad the alternative is - it's like something from the 90s! I only went there because for some reason FF won't display Techradar pics any more (I've cleared cache, cookies, checked the site settings...). Might see if they've got a forum. Google is increasingly useless for asking questions, so...

FF is shocking these days, if it wasn't for the extensions I use every session I'd be deploying one of the browsers that originally appeared on Android or something. Chrome and IE are like quicksand IME. I've installed various browsers on a brand new I5 with 8 gig RAM and even stock they bloody creak.

l3v1ck fail.
I think I've accidentally deleted the backup of my Japan photos. I did delete the main folder when I formatted my laptop, hence why I just went looking for the backup.
