Help needed, please! A friend of mine asked me who I'd like to see play the lead roles in the upcoming The Boys movie, and I'm absolutely stumped in most cases... A description of the graphic novel below: 'The story follows the exploits of Hugh Campbell who after witnessing his girlfriends demise at the hands of a superhero is enlisted into "The Boys" a CIA funded team trained to deal with superheroes who step out of line. As with most of Garth Ennis's work it is packed full of violence, gore, sex and plenty of politically incorrect humour which will have you laughing well into the night. Believe me when I say that after reading this you will never be able to look at superheroes in the same way again.' Now this is where you come in, using the pic of the 'good guys' below, who do you think would visually suit the roles? Going clock-wise from the top-left is The Frenchman, Mother's Milk, The Female, Wee Hughie, and finally, Billy Butcher. See if you can guess who Wee Hughie is based on if nothing else, but all suggestions welcome as to who'd play him otherwise Oh, and the book itself is £5.99 delivered on Amazon - I can't recommend it enough, but it's not for the easily-offended

Well Wee hughie looks like Simon Pegg so that's who I'm guessing.
Incidentally, don't forget everyone that the latest "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" is out...it's small, but only costs £6!

Correct on Wee Hughie/Pegg - apparently he was a bit shocked to discover he was in a comic, and thoroughly loved it! I have the first two volumes of LOEG, but they're somewhere in the vaults and I haven't yet read them

The second is an outstanding re-imagining of War of The Worlds....only Mr Moore could get away with the first chapter of a book written almost entirely in a made up alien language

Just thought of one for Billy Butcher - Dan from Eastenders and any show that requires an English henchman:

Unfortunately, I have a mother and two sisters who have watched it for years, hence knowing him as 'Dan from Eastenders' and not much else - if it wasn't for Google I'd be none the wiser

^ Sorry, I've outdone myself, how about a bulked-up Gerard Butler?* *Using whatever method Matt Damon used for Bourne 3 that made his face look like it been carved from a shiny spud

"The Female' could be Maggie Cheung, although she's possibly too old.
