I don't disapprove, but the major flaws are I am not a Labour Party member and I don't hold a seat in Westminster. :D

I'm reading that later.

They don't believe in anything. That's why some of them are so bothered they might lose out to another by accident.

Glad Corbyn has made it in at the last minute. There's at least now a vague chance that there might be an actual debate rather than 3 very similar candidates trying to appear different from each other.

I agree, it's gonna be necessary from their perspective for the EU ref. anyway, not to mention standing a chance of defeating the dodgier Tory votes.

Daily Telegraph urges readers to 'doom' Labour by backing Jeremy Corbyn

Article provides step-by-step guide on how to register as supporter of Labour party and vote for ‘socialist voter-repellent’ in leadership contest
http://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/j ... emy-corbyn

If I didn't have experience of extremely retarded management I'd be amazed at the Telegraph 'leadership' for letting that go ahead. But then I'm also an occasional Private Eye reader, and the Telegraph is apparently a sitcom waiting to happen.

Bring it on. The Torygraph might wish to reflect on what happened in Scotland where there was a party with rather more left wing policies than the Labour party was espousing.

I have no idea if it will actually happen but it would be utterly hilarious if the tory masse 'sabotaged' the labour party into actually giving the job to someone they think is utterly unelectable but turns out to be the exact opposite.

Indeed!

I do like that the three other candidates all appear to have vastly underestimated the level of support Crobyn is apparently getting from grass roots supporters. It seems they're actually really going to get a proper debate on the direction of the party which I suspect wasn't what they actually wanted.

That is a sad fantasy you two are engaged in. If Labour abandons the centre ground, the Tories will get a series of easy election wins versus weak oposition, just as Tony B did when the Tories succumbed to their own unrealistic desires for a decade.

After the intital flurry of interesting state building, democracy is supposed to become boring. It's not an epic duel between forces of light and darkness battling for the soul of a nation. They're bureaucrats competing for the opportunity to occasionally rewrite our bankruptcy laws. As such, none of them should be permitted to anything too interesting or dramatic.

As a former Tory strategist, here’s my urgent to-do list for Labour’s next leader | Politics | The Guardian

I agree with most of that, though I'd be seriously wary of cult-like councils. They might be even worse than the useless bastards who gather now.
