He's an excellent choice so long as he doesn't burn out if they insist on keeping him on script. Not one of his shows in recent memory hasn't diverted off in weird and wonderful ways. That said, that could be just what TG will need. It was very much seen it all before for at least two series'.

Yeah, I'm out. I don't really get on with Evans.

Jalopnik.com has just this handy guide explaining Evans to their (mostly) USA based audience.

That Jalopnik guide reminded me of Scarfold a little bit.

Didn't he make a point of saying he wasn't remotely interested in the role?
They must have thrown a lot of money at him.

There's nothing to say that Jeremy Clarkson couldn't return to the show. He likely won't, but it doesn't mean he can't. Mark

Would definitely be the fan's favourite I suspect. Perry could do it but I suspect they'd find fitting the schedule in with F1 a bit too tricky so it would be 'one or the other'. Interesting choice - massive TV exposure or paid trips to Monaco . Jodie Kidd.. Lord no. She can patently drive fast cars and drive cars fast, but that's actually nowhere near the top of the list of what a Top Gear presenter needs to do. Jon

For the same reasons, I'd discount Sabine. Jodie's got some pedigree on TV.
